Hi Guys, Our most important recess rules are there to help keep each and every student safe. We don't blame you for wanting to take your jackets off at times, though. Maybe we should do a "Survey Monkey" to see how all the parents feel about that. We already have quite a few jackets in the lost and found, so our hope is we wouldn't have more if we let students set their jackets on the ground during recess. We also have MANY students going to the nurse after recess because they got their clothes and shoes wet.....would we have more if students were allowed to put their jackets aside? Who knows, maybe, maybe not. Maybe we could designate a certain temperature outside as the "don't have to wear a jacket" temperature. We're always open to new and innovative ideas! We would love to hear your suggestions!!
Great Job! Adam and Owen!! I think that it is great that you talked about how the recess monitors tell you to keep on your jacket!!! I don't like that either!!! But of course there just trying to keep you from getting a cold! Hopefully this spring will be a good one to take off your coat! Great Job with the website! Your Friend, Nora In Mrs Kozlowski's Class
Wow, great job Adam! We are so proud of you.
ReplyDeleteLove, your 4th grade class & Miss Martin :)
That was very interesting to hear about recess from a student's point of view. It gives teachers something to think about. Mrs. Murphy
